Boat
Rentals During
your travels in West America, you have the opportunity to spend a day boating
on Lake Powell, which extends its 300 km along the borders of Arizona and Utah.
This is a relaxing day, and the lake's beauty will surprise and thrill
you. Immense canyons emerge from the lake (96 of them), whose colors ranging from
beige-vanilla to orange-red contrast sublimely with the pastel green and sapphire
blue of the water.
You
can meander through narrow canyons or navigate to the world's largest natural
bridge, the Rainbow Bridge National Monument. Numerous sand beaches allow you
to stop to swim (the water temperature is perfect!) or to take the time for a
pic nic.
The motor boats are 19-foot-long Powers Boats (5,8 metres) meant for 8 adults. The boat is picked up and dropped off at the Wahweap Marina. A general map of the lake will be provided, and you can also buy a very detailed map for just a few dollars.
THE
RATE
A security deposit of $300 is required by the organizers to reserve the boat, which will be reimbursed to you on the day of your boat tour. The actual cost of the rental is due only at the Marina the day you pick up the boat: $ 390 + taxes = $ 406 taxes included.
HOW TO BOOK?
Choose your date and Cafla Tours will take care of the reservation.
ADVICE
Stop in Page or elsewhere to buy water bottles, bring a pic nic, a hat,
and strong sun block. The boats are equipped with canopies, little cloth roofs
that cover the central part of the boat, for those who are sensitive to the sun.
